WHAT IS MYOFASICIAL RELEASE?
Myofascial Release is used to treat acute and chronic pain from tightness and sensitivity in muscle tissues and joints. Focusing on easing pain-inducing tension and tightness around these trigger points, the physical therapist liberates movement-restricting muscle knots and mobilizes tight, difficult-to-access muscle fascia to provide surprising increases in joint mobility.
